Kremlin declines to comment on possible Russian role in Iran drone attacks
The Kremlin on Thursday declined to comment on a Reuters report that US intelligence analysts were investigating possible Russian assistance in Iranian drone attacks on CIA facilities in the Persian Gulf.
Four people familiar with US intelligence told Reuters that analysts had reached no firm conclusions about possible Russian involvement.
The officials “cited the strikes’ effectiveness and apparent precision, as well as Russia’s broader technical support for Iran, as possible evidence,” according to the report.
