KYIV HIT BY MAJOR RUSSIAN ATTACK AS FIRES ERUPT ACROSS THE CAPITAL
Kyiv has suffered a major Russian missile and drone attack, with at least five districts reporting damage as emergency crews respond across the city.
According to preliminary information from Ukrainian authorities, residential buildings, vehicles, a dormitory, and an administrative building were set ablaze. There are also reports of damage near a shopping center and to sections of the metro infrastructure.
Officials have preliminarily reported one person killed and at least five others injured, while local media say people may be trapped beneath damaged structures. Rescue operations are ongoing, and casualty figures could change as crews continue to search affected areas.
