KZN “JOHN WICK” FATHER SPEAKS OUT AFTER TERRIFYING HIJACKING SHOOTOUT 💔🇿🇦
Sidney Hill, the KwaZulu-Natal father who protected his children during a hijacking, has spoken publicly in an interview with Highway Mail / Caxton Network News.
❤️ “My children mean the world to me.”
Hill said he would do anything to protect his children. Although he works as a bodyguard, witnessing the frightening incident with his children present was deeply painful.
“Seeing it live makes my heart sore. I never wanted them to experience that and see that side of me,” he said.
Hill revealed that he had moved into the area just four days before the incident. He had only returned home when the family decided to go out to buy bread and milk
During the shootout, he sustained injuries to his arm and knee. He says he is recovering, while his children are receiving counselling.
🚔 An arrest has been made
One suspect has reportedly been arrested and charged with attempted carjacking, attempted murder, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Hill said he was relieved by the arrest, but remained angry about the danger his son had faced.

The father of four said he never expected the overwhelming support and donations he has received from South Africans and people around the world through a BackaBuddy fundraising campaign.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has stood by his family during this difficult time.
Social media users have nicknamed him “John Wick” because of the incident, a nickname he has reportedly laughed off.
