Lameck Banda Won’t Return to Lecce Because of Contract Dispute
Banda is still in Lusaka and does not want to return to US Lecce, reliable sources tell BolaNews.
He is unhappy over Lecce’s decision to extend his contract, claiming it was done without his approval and that they made him sign a paper written in Italian which he does not understand.
Sources also allege he is owed one month’s salary and winning bonuses. He feels mistreated by the club.
Saudi club Al-Fateh are interested, but Lecce reportedly rejected a €2.5 million bid.
