Large Fire Reported After Drone Strike on Fuel Facility in Russia’s Stavropol Region

A large fire was reported at a fuel storage facility in Russia’s Stavropol region following an overnight drone strike, according to Russian officials and Ukrainian statements.

Regional authorities confirmed that emergency services were deployed after explosions were reported at an industrial site. Images and videos circulating online showed flames and thick smoke rising from the affected area as firefighters worked to contain the blaze.

The facility is part of the LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt fuel distribution network, which supports civilian fuel storage and regional fuel transportation. Officials have not released a final assessment of the damage, and the full operational impact remains unclear.

The reported strike is one of several long-range drone attacks reported across Russia during the same period, with authorities continuing to inspect affected energy facilities. Neither side’s claims regarding the extent of the damage have been independently verified.
