LEADERSHIP MOVEMENT UNVEILS MR. NTAZANA MUSUKUMA MUTUNGWA AS PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE FOR MANDEVU CONSTITUENCY BY-ELECTION

The Leadership Movement (LM) wishes to inform the nation and the people of Mandevu Constituency that the Party, through its National Executive Committee (NEC) chaired by Party President Dr. Richard Silumbe, has adopted Mr. Ntazana Musukuma Mutungwa as its candidate for the forthcoming Mandevu Constituency Parliamentary By-election.
Mr. Mutungwa is a distinguished former Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Zambia (UNZA), School of Humanities and Social Sciences and National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) as well as a holder of impeccable academic, governance and social policy credentials. He is a seasoned political commentator, a former Parliamentary Candidate for Chawama Constituency and a committed member of the Leadership Movement.
The Party has settled for Mr. Mutungwa on account of his proven intellectual leadership, integrity, deep understanding of production, governance, social policy and community development as well as his passion for youth empowerment, quality education and improved service delivery — aspirations that resonate strongly with the people of Mandevu.
The Leadership Movement is confident that Mr. Mutungwa embodies the values of servant leadership, accountability and transformative leadership that our Party stands for. We believe he is the right candidate to represent the diverse and hardworking people of Kabanana, Mandevu, Chipata, Chazanga, Chaisa, Marapodi and surrounding areas.
The Party calls upon all members, supporters, and the general citizenry in Mandevu Constituency to rally behind Mr. Mutungwa as we head towards nominations on 8th October, 2026 and polls on 5th November, 2026
