BREAKING: Lecce Investigating Lameck Banda’s Delayed Return to Italy, Club says they will consider disciplinary action
Italian Serie A club Lecce say they are investigating the reasons behind Lameck Banda’s failure to return to Italy for the start of pre-season training.
In a statement, the club said the Zambian winger informed them that ongoing logistical and bureaucratic challenges have continued to delay his return.
Lecce added that they will assess the circumstances and have reserved the right to take disciplinary action if necessary to ensure Banda fulfils his contractual obligations.
The 24-year-old remains under contract with the Italian club until June 30, 2027.
