Iris Kaingu made her debut parliamentary candidature in 2021 on the Patriotic Front ticket. She came out third with 2,831 votes which represent approximately 27% of total votes cast.
The Incumbent MP, Sefulo Sibeso won with 5,148 votes representing approximately 45% of total votes cast.
THIS YEAR, it is a two horse race because only Iris and Sefulo managed to successfully file in their nominations. The total number of registered Voters is 18,300+.

If Iris backed out and did not stand for her people as an Independent Candidate, SEFULO would have won UNOPPOSED.
Those who are sharp POLITICALLY and LEGALLY, know already why it was a bad idea for Bally to say what he said about Iris.
