LISWANISO, ARMY OF YOUTHS READY TO PROTECT HICHILEMA’S VOTES COUNTRYWIDE.
United Party for National Development (UPND) National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso says his army of youths is ready to protect President Hakainde Hichilema’s votes across the country during the August 13 General Elections.
Mr. Liswaniso says it is the responsibility of every youth to protect their vote and ensure that the will of the people is upheld without contradictions.
He has therefore urged UPND youths to remain vigilant at polling stations and ensure that President Hichilema’s votes are protected in a peaceful and lawful manner.
Mr. Liswaniso has further directed the youths to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and strictly follow the guidelines provided by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
He has warned that violence, intimidation and any form of disorder will not be tolerated among UPND youths.
“We need to go to all polling stations and protect our votes. We need to protect President Hakainde Hichilema’s votes without fail,” Mr. Liswaniso urged.
“As we go out to protect the votes, let us do so in an orderly manner. We will not allow any of you to go and be violent or start intimidating people. We are all Zambians, and we need to vote peacefully,” he said.
