LISWANISO CALLS FOR COMPLETE CHANGE OF MIND SET TO GOVERNANCE AND DEVELOPMENT

United Party for National Development (UPND) National Youth Chairman Gilbert Liswaniso has implored all Zambians to change and develop a mindset towards development and good governance.

Speaking during a Radio Liseli interactive Program, Friday Mr Liswaniso said Zambians must not continue on a damaged trajectory of governance system by the former ruling PF which was coupled with political handouts and corruption.

And Mr Liswaniso has maintained that ending to caderism in all public institutions demands concerted efforts from various stakeholders.

“President Hakainde Hichilema is given a mandate by the Zambian people to govern the country and improve the economy.

The young people who voted for him in a majority understand his exceptional leadership and are confident he is going to deliver and be judged in his tenure of office as a responsible leader”Mr Liswaniso said.

And the UPND National Youth boss said the proposed 2022 budget presented to the nation by the Finance Minister is answer to the aspirations of the Zambian people.

He said that the K173 billion budget effective January 2022 is a gift of the UPND led government to all the people.

”The budget is inclusive and community based which calls for all Zambians to be part of as resources are decentralised.

Here in Western Province the area can develop if everyone participates in developing all areas.

CDF is allocated to all the constituencies and you are mandated to be part of it to ensure development is delivered” He said.

Meanwhile, a UPND die hard activist has implored youths in the province not to lose focus on reuniting and rebuilding Zambia.

“Among important issues that the young people confidently voted for UPND and President Hichilema is to rebuild and reunite Zambia, zero tolerance to corruption.

I will be back soon in Western Province to interact with the people and to ensure they understand more the vision and change they voted for.

There is nothing to worry about be patient it is well”he stated.
