Does it really matter who’s running local government in Zambia? From the capital city itself, other cities such as Kitwe, Ndola, Livingstone, Chipata, right up to small rural settlements such as Chiengi, Shangombo, Chembe, Nyimba, Lumezi, Chibombo, Mushindamo etc, the disorder in local government is the same. There’s simply no municipal government that makes the grade. Why can’t we talk about this?
