BREAKING NEWS: MALAWI’S PRESIDENT CHAKWERA CONCEDES ELECTION DEFEAT

LILONGWE, Sept 24 (Reuters)
Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera on Wednesday conceded defeat in this month’s presidential election.
“It is only right that I concede defeat out of respect for your will as citizens and out of respect for the constitution,” Chakwera said in an address to the nation.
Malawi’s electoral commission is due to release the presidential election result at a briefing starting around 1200 GMT. Official results released so far show ex-president Peter Mutharika has built a commanding lead over Chakwera.

Zambia under UPND runs a government free from Tribalism, institutional corruption, and oppression. Any such opposite insinuations can only be rostered by those who were created differently, those who find peace in turbulence and in turmoil. Where peace is, to them it is violence. Where violence is, to them is peace. Now that there is peace in Zambia, they are not at peace. Now that there is no room for institutional corruption and leakage of state funds, they see hunger and a bad government. They see corruption where it is not. They see Tribalism where it is not. Give them a chance to be in power, the entire country gets engulfed by there own Tribalism. But they will conveniently stay quiet, bcos it is their tribalism and it is okay.
Your tactic won’t work. While you think you are a big lot bcos of your AMAKA attitude, you will finally have to sober up, bcos you will finally realise that the pipo of Zambia that suffered under your oppressive rule will never ever give you that chance again.
