A wanted man saw his police photo online and decided he had a bigger problem.
He didn’t like how he looked.
In 2016, police in Ohio posted a mugshot of Donald “Chip” Pugh while asking the public for help finding him.
Pugh saw it.
Then, while still wanted, he sent police a much better selfie of himself wearing sunglasses and a suit jacket.
His message was simple:
“Here is a better photo that one is terrible.”
Police actually added the selfie to the wanted post and joked that they appreciated the help.
The post quickly went viral.
Most fugitives try to avoid being recognized.
He wanted to make sure everyone recognized him from his good side
