MAZABUKA ERUPTS AS LILANDA DROPS TO HIS KNEES IN EMOTIONAL PLEA

Yesterday the grounds in Mazabuka roared.

Thousands gathered, but it was one moment that silenced them all.

Vincent Lilanda, UPND Mazabuka Central candidate, took the microphone and broke the script.

He dashed straight towards the crowd.

In one swift motion, he hurled his cap into the sea of supporters.

Then he did what a few expected – he knelt.

On his knees, voice heavy with conviction, Lilanda made a heartfelt appeal to the people who will decide Mazabuka’s future.

“Vote for HH. Vote for me,” he pleaded.

It was not a speech.

It was a vow.

It was not politics as usual.

It was a leader begging his people to believe again.

The crowd answered with cheers that shook the venue.

With the general elections drawing near, Lilanda’s dramatic appeal has set the tone: this race won’t be won from a distance.

It will be won on the ground, heart to heart.
