Medvedev Issues Stark Warning to the West
Russia’s military capabilities would allow it to strike Kyiv and key NATO targets with devastating effect, leaving “no trace,” Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has warned.
Medvedev accused the collective West of deliberately pushing the world toward the brink of a nuclear apocalypse.
He said Russia is aware of its responsibility for the future of humanity and is seeking to prevent a global catastrophe, but warned that “patience has its limits.”
The comments come amid growing tensions between Russia and NATO and increasingly sharp rhetoric over the war in Ukraine.
⚠️ The remarks underline the continued risk of further escalation between Moscow and the West.
