DEPUTY SPEAKER MOSES MOYO
So imagine the Referee at the Qatar World Cup telling Cristian Ronaldo that he can’t score goals and is beginning to finish. Then Ronaldo responds that actually the Referee himself finished a long time in his home country (Luangeni Constituency home of Paramount Chief Mpezeni that was complaining that his MP (the deputy Speaker Moyo) has never been seen since last general elections in 2021.
The Referee then ordered the Sergent at Arms to ‘lift me by air’ out of Parliament. Shame on him downgrading to partisan politics the Honourable seat of deputy Soeaker inside our Parliament.
Incidentally this is the man that was PF entire last 10 year period in government and got huge road contracts for the entire Eastern Province. He got huge advance payments such that when he was not adopted by PF in Chipata district, he stood as independent. He splashed all the cash duped from road contracts onto the villages of Luangeni constituencies and won.
Today he is despising same PF and same former President ECL that gave the platform to make billions of cash from public coffers. All his peers in the road contracts countrywide have been cancelled but his still running and he is still milking the public funds.
His predecessors as deputy Speakers even if they may have been supported the government of the day, they did not expose themselves. They behaved or seen to behave as referees. The other deputy Speaker Madam Atractor Chisangano and despite being a former UPND MP, she tries hard to be impartial as a referee inside the House.
Ba Moyo bena bamwisa ku UPND, ni Muzungu anikonde nensoni iyoo. As an Independent MP and former PF member to the 2021 adoption day, his conduct as deputy Speaker is more of a UPND cadre without shame when he at minimum, should pretend to be a non partisan deputy Speaker(Referee).
I am travelling to Chipata mailo to go complain to Paramount Chief Mpezeni on the unbecoming behavior of one of his subjects and home MP that he has not seen since last general elections.
