MILES SAMPA SHOCKED AND CONFUSED AS PF COURT BATTLES TAKE NEW TWIST

Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has reportedly been left shocked and confused following fresh developments in the ongoing leadership wrangles surrounding the former ruling party, the Patriotic Front.
This comes shortly after what appeared to be a major victory for Miles Sampa in court, when a judge set aside an injunction that had been obtained by his opponents, including Morgan Ng’ona and Robert Chabinga.
However, in a dramatic turn of events, it only took a few more hours for Morgan Ng’ona to return to court and successfully obtain another injunction reportedly barring Miles Sampa from accessing or conducting any activities related to the Patriotic Front party.
The latest court action has added more uncertainty to the ongoing power struggle within the former ruling party, with supporters from both camps continuing to closely follow the legal battle.
Political observers say the continued court disputes could further deepen divisions within the PF as different factions fight for control and legitimacy ahead of future political activities.
Miles Sampa should not be shocked. Courts do not initiate but litigants like Miles Sampa. When a litigant files documents, the Court has an obligation to determine the matter. In this case, the Court of Appeal had dismissed Ng’ona’s application for an Injunctionon grounds that he should have made this preferrably before the High Court. So, Ng’ona did just that. Now, Sampa has to file an Affidavit in Opposition and after the Inter-parte hearing, the Court will make a RULING.
