Morocco Does Not Represent Africa – Morocco Minister
Morocco Sports Minister, Mohammad Saad Berrad, said Morocco is at the World Cup to represent Morocco, not Africa.
In his words, the national team competes to represent Morocco first, not Africa as a whole.
Berrad argued that every country has a responsibility to defend its own national interests, honor, and identity whenever it takes part in international competitions.
The sports minister also said Morocco does not need Africa’s support.
