MOST ZAMBIANS CONSIDER JJ BANDA A HERO, SAYS EMMANUEL MWAMBA.
Former Ambassador to Ethiopia Emmanuel Mwamba says former Petauke Central Member of Parliament Emmanuel Jay Jay Banda is regarded as a hero by many Zambians for speaking out against what he describes as injustice under the UPND Government.
Mr. Mwamba says Mr. Banda was expressing his opinions on matters affecting the country and does not deserve the treatment he is currently facing.
He has called on Zambians to reflect on Mr. Banda’s actions and consider his stance against alleged injustice.
“Emmanuel JJ Banda is a hero to most Zambians because he spoke against injustice by the UPND Government. He was simply giving out his opinions on matters, and he does not deserve what he is going through right now,” Mr. Mwamba said.
Mr. Mwamba’s remarks have attracted criticism from some Zambians who have challenged his position during live broadcasts on his Facebook page, arguing that Mr. Banda posed a danger to the Head of State.
In response, Mr. Mwamba argued that no individual could potentially harm a Head of State, especially the likes of JJ Banda.
