Mother of Flavio Bolsonaro Speaks Out: My Heart Bleeds as Another Son Is Forced From His Homeland
Rogéria Bolsonaro, mother of Flávio, Carlos and Eduardo Bolsonaro, released a raw video message after her son Flávio left Brazil. She described the departure as the result of unjust, unfounded and arbitrary persecutions that have torn her family apart.
Speaking directly to the camera, she began by reading prepared notes so emotion would not overwhelm her. “I want to share with you a little of the feeling of a mother’s heart,” she said. “I am very sad. My heart bleeds, thank God it is a strong heart, because another son was forced to leave his beloved homeland because of unjust, unfounded and arbitrary persecutions.”
She then turned to the grandchildren she will no longer see regularly. “Now there are four grandchildren that I will be deprived of accompanying closely their growth, celebrating together their victories and achievements and comforting in difficult times. I won’t be able to be close when they have a fever, to put my hand on their foreheads and check if it’s high or not.”
Despite the pain, she expressed complete trust in God. “But our God knows what He does and I trust Him completely. I know that He will give me strength to endure all this.” She added that she had much more to say about what is happening to her family, but that it would not fit in the message.
Rogéria closed by reaffirming the bond that remains. “I always repeat that my children are my life. I love you so much. Distance separates us, but love unites us. And now, separated from another one, all I can say is see you soon, Flávio, my dear son. God bless you. See you soon.”
The message comes as Flávio Bolsonaro, who recently lost Brazil’s presidential election, departed the country after authorities ordered him to surrender his passports amid ongoing invest
gations. His mother framed the move as one more family member driven out by political persecution rather than ordinary legal process.
