MULUSA WANTS HICHILEMA ARRESTED IMMEDIATELY HE LEAVES OFFICE IN 22 DAYS.
Former North-Western Province Member of Parliament and former Minister of National Development Planning under the Patriotic Front, Lucky Mulusa, has called for President Hakainde Hichilema to be arrested immediately he leaves office in 22 days following the August 13 general election.
Speaking during an interview with Zambian Watch News, Mr. Mulusa alleged that President Hichilema had abused state resources by installing state-funded presidential security infrastructure and equipment at his private residence, Community House.
He argued that no leader should be above the law and that anyone found to have misused public resources should be held accountable.
“My immediate wish is that a new government that will be ushered in 22 days must immediately arrest Hakainde Hichilema for abusing state resources. The evidence is there at his Community House. He has shifted all State House protection units and other gadgets to his house. Is that not abuse of office? Why should we allow lawbreakers to be free?” Mr. Mulusa said.
Mr. Mulusa further says that the alleged use of state resources at the President’s private residence was unacceptable and should be investigated by the next administration.
He also urged voters to remove President Hichilema from office in 22 days, alleging that the Head of State is a danger to this country.
“When you see a President abusing state resources and machinery like President Hakainde Hichilema, you need to vote them out at all cost. I believe Zambians will reject Hichilema in 22 days because he is a danger to this country,” he said.
