Mundubile, Makebi salivating to come and eat where they left off – HH … what kind of boys are these?
President Hakainde Hichilema has warned Zambians against going backwards as they would be ‘burnt again’ because Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu failed to do the same things were were promising now when they served as ministers.
Introduced to the stage by a campaign song ‘ba Pompwe baisa nakabili (the thieves have come again)’, President Hichilema warned that Zambians would be ‘burnt again’ if they proceeded to elect the NRPUP presidential ticket of Brian Mundubile and Zulu, as the two served as ministers in the former PF administration that was voted out of office.
“These two boys were both ministers in PF. One was here in Northern Province (Mundubile). The other one was provincial minister in Eastern Province (Zulu). They are saying a lot now, (but) why didn’t they do all those things when they were in government?” President Hichilema asked.

Mr President , tell the Zambian people what happened to the promises you made in 2021….
1. Price of mealie meal will be K50
2. Price of Fuel will be K12
3. Price of Fertilizer will be K250
4. There will be no loadshedding in the UPND Government
5. There will be no borrowing under the UPND government
6. When I get sworn in the morning, by afternoon the Kwacha will appreciate against the dollar
These were some of the promises you made to the Zambian people with your own mouth Mr President. And that is what this election is all about. If you think by avoiding to talk about your promises to the Zambians , the people of Zambia have forgotten , sorry Mr President you have a very big surprise from the Zambian people on 13th August. Stop focussing on Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu and tell the Zambian people what you did in the last 5 years and then let them know what you have in stock for them in the next 5 years ; otherwise you have already lost the election even before the first vote is cast. Zambians are peaceful but not stupid. They will teach you a lesson you will never forget all your life. Then you will bow before the Zambian people and acknowledge that they hold the real power and they deserve to be respected and not to be taken for granted.
Let them come so that we eat with them at least without the stifling cyber laws or loadshedding
