MUNDUBILE, MAKEBI ZULU CASE ADJOURNED TO OCTOBER 5
The matter involving former Mporokoso Member of Parliament Brian Mundubile and former Justice Minister Makebi Zulu has been adjourned to October 5th and 6th, 2026, for plea and commencement of trial.
The two appeared before the Solwezi High Court as their supporters and members of their respective political parties gathered in Solwezi to show solidarity.
Speaking after the court session, Mr. Mundubile and Mr. Zulu’s lawyer, State Counsel Sakwiba Sikota, said the two have been presented with two charges.
Mr. Sikota also questioned why the matter is being heard before the Solwezi High Court when, according to him, the two were arrested in Kabwe District.
The matter will come up before court on October 5th and 6th for plea and commencement of trial.
