Mundubile pledges K1,200 social cash transfer, better roads and mining opportunities
NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has pledged to increase Social Cash Transfer payments from K800 to K1,200 and expand mining opportunities for young people if elected President.
Mwinilunga, 30 July – Speaking during a rally in Mwinilunga on Wednesday, Mundubile said the increase would help beneficiaries cope with the rising cost of living.
He also pledged to establish a Ministry of Mines office in Mwinilunga to make it easier for local miners to obtain licences and access government services.
Mundubile said his administration would support young people to participate in safe and formalised mining at Kansenseli Gold Mine by providing training, equipment and guidance on environmental protection.
Meanwhile, addressing a rally in Ikelenge, Mundubile promised to upgrade the Solwezi-Mwinilunga-Ikelenge road up to the Jimbe border with Angola to bituminous standard.
“We did not come with a helicopter; we have gone through the road so that we experience the hardship that you are facing today,” Mundubile said.
He said improving the road and border infrastructure would help boost trade between Zambia and Angola, while his administration would also invest in clean water infrastructure for Ikelenge.
Mundubile said the proposed projects were intended to create economic opportunities and accelerate development in North-Western Province.

Mundubile’s pledges are laughable, has he got a short memory or what? Does he people just follow and believe any rubbish someone speaks out of his mouth? Ba PF are on record, Social Cash Transfer balilya then babepesha ba Emerine Kabanshi and fired her, does he think we have forgotten? We also don’t know which roads he will come to improve. Go to Mporokoso now, there is no better road there, you can even cry. Mines they failed, KCM, Mopani had all collapsed, now that their friend has revived them, ati better mining opportunities, where? Mundubile is indeed a cloth cut from PF. He is spectacularly displaying the failed PF regime’s propensity for reckless spending, with absolutely no sensible clue on how they would generate the revenue to cover that spending. Any wonder why they dangerously ran the country’s economy down into default? Truth be told, in this election, there is completely no sensible alternative to HH and UPND.
These are the people who were saying HH has failed to deliver on his campaign promises and yet the promises Mr. Mundubile is making are so outrageous only the gullible would believe him.
PF are such hypocrites. Mr. Mundubile has promised everything and anything. He is so desperate to get into state house he is telling blatant lies. He won’t deliver on any of his promises even if he is given a third term.
Even with the USD6.5billion reserves painstakingly built by HH and UPND, he cannot achieve what he is promising. Add to this the fact that he would intervene in the justice system and release all jailed PF criminals and cause the state to return back all the properties forfeited to the state by the likes of Mr. Bowman Lusambo and Ms. Faith Musonda not to mention the Lungu family.
Mr. Mundubile is a danger to our country.
On what basis is this man making these promises? You cant just be making promises without a credible basis…

Tell us where you will get the money to increase and improve what you are promising. Your friend makes the money then you want to come and spend it. That being a chancer bwana.
