MUTEBA PLEDGES TO DELIVER OVER 90 PERCENT OF VOTES FOR MUNDUBILE
Mwembeshi Ward 31 aspiring councillor Albert Muteba has pledged to deliver more than 90 percent of the vote for National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate Brian Mundubile in the August 13 general election.
Muteba said the commitment followed a directive from Mundubile, who challenged him to mobilise support and ensure the party recorded a landslide victory in the ward.
He said Mundubile had encouraged him to work hard ahead of the polls.
“Go out into Mwembeshi Ward 31, make us proud, and deliver over 90 percent of the vote,” Mundubile told him.
Muteba said he immediately accepted the challenge and assured the party leader of his commitment.
“Thank you, Mr President. I will do just that,” said Muteba.
He expressed confidence that the people of Mwembeshi Ward 31 would overwhelmingly support NRPUP, its presidential candidate Brian Mundubile, Lima Constituency parliamentary candidate Kelvin Kaunda and his own bid for the ward councillorship.
Muteba said such support would enable the party’s candidates to effectively represent the interests of the people after the August 13 polls.
