MWALITETA PLEDGES COMMITMENT TO LUSAKA PROVINCE

Newly appointed Lusaka Province Minister and Kafue West Member of Parliament Hon Obvious Mwaliteta Summerton has pledged to serve with humility, commitment and dedication, expressing readiness to work with the people to address shared challenges and unlock the province’s full potential.
In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Hon. Mwaliteta thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for the confidence and trust placed in him through the appointment, saying he did not take the responsibility lightly.
He also expressed gratitude to the UPND leadership and members, his colleagues, family, and the people of Kafue and Lusaka Province for their continued support, encouragement and confidence.
Emphasising that public service is a collective responsibility, Hon. Mwaliteta pledged to listen, engage meaningfully and work diligently to address the challenges facing the province.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to President Hichilema, the party and the people of Zambia, expressing his commitment to serving in his new role with dedication.
Under the message “Lusaka, I’m Back — Let’s Grow Zambia,” the minister called for collective efforts to advance development in the province.
Hon. Mwaliteta also serves as UPND Lusaka Province Chairperson and represents Kafue West Constituency in Parliament.
