President Hakainde Hichilema has urged the people of Eastern, Northern, Luapula and Muchinga provinces to give him more votes and elect his members of parliament so that he can have a wide base to choose from when appointing ministers after the 2026 general elections.
And President Hichilema said he was working on a phased approach to extend the free education policy to tertiary education.
The President further urged Zambians to dismiss “opposition lies” that he would amend the constitution to remove term limits once re-elected, saying he would respect the 5-year two-term limit.
