NAWA NAWA, MATERO ASPIRING MP, BACKS ECZ DELIMITATION PROCESS

Aspiring Member of Parliament for Matero, Nawa Nawa, has expressed strong support for the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) delimitation programme, describing it as a timely, inclusive, and essential process for strengthening Zambia’s democracy.
Speaking at the official launch at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Nawa Nawa stated that the people of Matero fully back the initiative and trust the process underway.
He stressed that delimitation is a national exercise that must proceed transparently and professionally until ECZ announces the final constituencies.
“As ECZ engages stakeholders at provincial, district, and constituency levels, it is the duty of leaders and citizens alike to provide constructive support rather than suspicion,” he said.
Nawa Nawa further urged all well-meaning Zambians to rally behind ECZ, reminding the nation that Zambia belongs to everyone and that national unity must remain above politics.
“We only have one Zambia, and this process must be supported for the good of our democracy,” he concluded.
