Netanyahu Says War Will End Only if Iran’s Islamic Regime Falls or Abandons Nuclear Program
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that the ongoing conflict will only come to an end if Iran’s Islamic leadership is either removed from power or permanently abandons its nuclear program.
Speaking on the objectives of Israel’s military campaign, Netanyahu said the war would not conclude until what he described as the threat posed by Iran’s ruling regime and its nuclear ambitions had been eliminated.
“The war will end only when the Islamic regime in Iran collapses or gives up its nuclear program,” Netanyahu said, underscoring Israel’s long-standing position that it will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.
