NETANYAHU WARNS QATAR OVER HOSTING HAMAS FIGURES
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Qatar and other countries that, in his words, “harbour terrorists” to either expel them or bring them to justice.
“Because if you don’t, we will,” Netanyahu said, signaling that Israel could take direct action against individuals it considers terrorist figures if host countries fail to act.
The remarks echo warnings Netanyahu has previously issued toward Gaza and Lebanon, as Israel continues to argue that countries hosting Hamas and other armed groups could face consequences.
Qatar has long hosted Hamas’s political leadership and has played a major role in mediation efforts between Israel and Hamas.
