NEVERS MUMBA IS COMPLETELY WAY OFF ON HH’s PURPORTED INVITATION
Never Mumba’s “advice” on the invitation issue is completely wrong.
Dr Mumba’s advice regarding the latest development on the failure of PF to invite HH to the state funeral is totally wrong. PF who are the current “champions” are so scared of their strongest opponent, UPND, such that they cannot invite him at the state funeral. PF, knowing who they’re, cannot allow HH to attend a state function. There was no invitation extended to UPND, and that is why there was an emphasis, strictly by invitation.
Nevers said that if he was not invited, he would have gone there because it was a state funeral. By implication, the fact that HH was not invited, he should have gone to attend the funeral because it was a state funeral!
PF thought HH was going to show up so that they cause fracas and make a story out of it, just to embarrass him. HH actually did well to stay behind because there was no invitation. Dr. mumba was invited because his weak MMD is not that a factor as compared to the UPND which is giving them sleepless nights.
Since this was politicized, the response should not be “churchy”, it should be political. Dr Mumba once attended the national day of prayer where he read out a written prayer, and just after the event, the ” holy, holy” PF who introduced these prayers still continued on their usual trajectory of undermining, demeaning, underrating and painting UPND black. What’s the meaning of prayers if the proponents of these prayers do not actually live by what they preach?
This is mockery when we just want to use “God” so that people will think we are Christians. Dr Mumba knows very well that Jesus said that you shall know them by their fruit. Action speaks louder than words! People tend to believe more and all they see unlike what you profess to be. The fruit of the individuals who claim to be Christians is very far from the Christ we read about in the Bible. Full of hatred, bitterness and unforgiveness and yet trying to deceive the masses in the name of God. The Bible says don’t judge, yes it does, but their fruit(actions) is judging them. There’s nothing in praying, but the motive is certainly wrong. Christians without discernment cannot know the motive. Doing the right but with a wrong motive. The embracing of one another as political leader cannot work in Zambian politics and especially that next month Zambians are going to decide. Pf should be condemned because they are the ones who should step out to make such initiatives, but they can’t. All they do is embrace these small opposition parties and it’s leaders without any impact. Small opposition parties and their president who are existing to attack the real and big opposition parties. Small opposition parties in real sense are not opposition because they don’t oppose.
MMD should not ride on its past glory with enticing phrases! They had their time. HH should not be the center of our discussion, he was not invited, period.
In Corinthians 2: 11, the Bible tells that the devil will not take advantage over us because we know his schemes/strategies. If you read it in reverse, the devil will take advantage over us because we don’t know his schemes/strategies.
Zambians who mean well and know the evil schemes of the devil, John 10:10, will not allow the enemy of progress to divert Zambians because it’s too late because it’s next month!, and they’re running out of time.
Zambians, stand strong with the UPND alliance for a prosperous Zambia. Even if UPND is not invited for the funeral, don’t quit, don’t curve in, stay focused and vote for the UPND alliance who has fielded Hakainde Hichilema. The alliance has it’s partners who bring to the table a wealth of knowledge and experience to help the alliance become more strong to dethrone the PF. Unity of purpose at work because of the common good for mother Zambia. HH does not need to make phone calls because he is on record for dialogue and all his efforts were given a blind eye. Now it’s One Zambia ,One Nation, going forward.
