New Tanker Attacks in Strait of Hormuz Injure Two Crew Members
A tanker identified as LR Stephanie was struck by an unknown projectile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz on September 21, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
Two crew members sustained minor injuries, but the vessel remained operational and continued sailing toward its next port of call.
In a separate incident, the LPG carrier Al Maryah, operated by ADNOC Shipping & Logistics, was reportedly hit by a drone outside the Strait of Hormuz. All 19 crew members were reported safe, with no major damage confirmed.
