Congratulations as you keep tightly to HH’s standard and do us proud.
Regarding the appointment of ministers, I have serious concerns about some of the individuals being considered for these positions.
The Minister of Mines is a major concern for me. Given her previous record as Minister of Labour, I have doubts about what she will bring to the mining sector in terms of meaningful development and tangible results.
The Minister of Local Government also appears to have had limited success in bringing about the changes that people expect. We need leadership that can deliver practical solutions and transform our communities.
Furthermore, the Minister of Sport struggled to manage the party until Liswaniso came in. This raises a legitimate question: if there were challenges in managing the party, how can we expect him to manage responsibilities at the national level effectively?
Mr President, ministerial appointments should not be based merely on loyalty or political connections. They should be based on proven performance, relevant experience, accountability, and the ability to deliver results. Our country needs ministers who can bring meaningful development, not individuals who simply occupy offices without meeting the expectations of the people.
