Nicki Minaj’s legal team has had enough.
Law firm Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever has filed a request with a judge asking permission to withdraw from representing the rapper and her company Pink Friday Productions, TMZ exclusively reports.
The firm is defending Nicki Minaj in a lawsuit filed by 24/7 Productions, which claims she and Pink Friday Productions failed to reimburse over $200,000 in expenses connected to her “Pink Friday 2” album.
The lawyers say they want out due to irreconcilable differences over the conduct of the representation and a communication breakdown hence, they no longer believe they can continue working for her.
The situation has reached an unusual point as the firm is struggling to even formally serve her the withdrawal notice.
A process server went to the building where Nicki Minaj lives in a $10 million penthouse.
The concierge said she was not home, but her husband was, and added that the couple had a tendency not to answer their phones.
