NKOMBO DENIES HICHILEMA’S CLAIM THAT HE BROUGHT HIM TO UPND

President Hakainde Hichilema claimed publicly that he was responsible for bringing Gary Nkombo into the United Party for National Development (UPND).

This assertion ignited a rebuttal from Nkombo himself, who attributed his entry into the party to the influence of the late Anderson Mazoka and his chief, rather than Hichilema.

  1. Does anyone believe what the tribalist conman ever says? Gary is a dignified son of the soil. His enemy is the exact opposite, completely useless man.

  2. @HaaIndigoTyrol, it would be helpful to engage in discussions with respectful language and to avoid commenting on issues without first understanding the full context.

Regarding Gary Nkombo, regardless of political differences or current views, it is fair to acknowledge that President Hakainde Hichilema played a significant role in his political growth and influence. For that reason, it would be more constructive for Mr Nkombo to exercise restraint rather than responding to every statement made by the President.

It is also important not to be carried away by the encouragement or influence of a few individuals. A person’s character and loyalty are often revealed during times of disappointment, disagreement, and adversity. Remaining calm, measured, and steadfast in such moments reflects maturity, resilience, and integrity. Sometimes, choosing silence is a sign of strength rather than weakness.
