NO COURT IN ZAMBIA HAS THE TREASON CASE INVOLVING MUNDUBILE AND MAKEBI ON ITS TABLE.

“Our inspection of the Lusaka High Court today; both General and Criminal Registries confirmed that the alleged Mundubile and 18 others TREASON case is still NOT before Court more than a month after detention and subsequent transfer of suspects to Kabwe’s MUKOBEKO Maximum Prison.
These are the same Courts the STATE CLOSED with Army to prevent filing of constitutionally mandated Presidential Petition against President Hakainde Hichilema disputed election. EU was right, this is dictatorship
The State that claimed to been investigating the 3 months old political party for 3 years still hasn’t taken the matter to court despite the arrests leaves us concerned. This is testimony of lack of Evidence by the STATE otherwise why arrest before finishing investigating?
This is the same as was done to the 42 NRPUP Members who were detained for nothing. It is abuse of State power and pure retribution on innocent political opponents on a fabricated Treason charge in order to prevent them from challenging a disputed election
Secondly, it’s surprising that even the alleged SEDITION charge is equally absent and yet the accused are suffering in Prison.
Holding citizens in long detention is unfair and illegal. We demand that the State take the matter to Court and Stop this abuse or IMMEDIATELY RELEASE THEM. Let JUSTICE Prevail.
