North Korea Rejects Proposed Trump–Kim Talks
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s sister, Kim Yo-jong, said she was unaware of any communication between Kim and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Pyongyang has also rejected a reported proposal for autumn talks between Kim and Trump, citing what it described as Washington’s continued hostile policy toward North Korea.
Kim Yo-jong said there was currently no basis for believing that a new meeting between the two leaders was being arranged, signaling that Pyongyang remains skeptical of renewed engagement with Washington.
