NORTHERN PROVINCE ACTING PS BEAUTY UNDI PHIRI, REFUTES CLAIMS THAT SHE HAS BEEN THREATENING CIVIL SERVANTS TO VOTE FOR PRESIDENT HH.

Northern Province Acting Permanent Secretary Ms. BEAUTY UNDI PHIRI has refuted claims going round social media alleging that she has been holding meetings threatening civil servants to vote for President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA or they will be booted out of the civil service.

Ms. PHIRI says the allegations are false and malicious, adding that she has not held any meeting to threaten civil servants.

The Acting Permanent Secretary added that she is in no position to threaten civil servants or anyone because votes are secret and the New Dawn Government’s leadership is built on transparency and integrity.

Ms. PHIRI has further urged members of the public to use social media responsibly and to disseminate factual and truthful information.

She noted that social media should not be used for bullying and spreading lies.
