NRPUP’S PAULINE BANDA WINS PETAUKE CENTRAL
NRPUP parliamentary candidate Pauline Lyaliwe Banda has won the Petauke Central Parliamentary seat defeating UPND candidate Severian Lungu in the 2026 General Election.
Banda who is the younger sister of fugitive businessman and politician Emmanuel “Jay Jay” Banda, has secured the seat for NRPUP in the reported election results.
Her victory adds to NRPUP’s growing list of reported parliamentary gains across the country and marks a change in representation for Petauke Central.
Zambians went to the polls on August 13, 2026, to elect the President, Members of Parliament, mayors, council chairpersons and councillors.
