UNITED STATES: Ohio Mom Sentenced to Probation After Injecting Feces Into Hospitalized Child’s IV

A Maumee, Ohio mother will serve probation after admitting to injecting feces into her child’s IV line at a Columbus hospital.

Tiffany Lesueur, 35, was caught on surveillance at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Her child had been admitted on February 6, 2026, for injuries from suspected abuse, and staff were already monitoring her.

On February 8, video reportedly showed Lesueur enter a hospital bathroom with a specimen cup, come out with what appeared to be fecal matter, mix it with liquid in a syringe, and inject it into the IV in her child’s left hand

She was detained at the hospital and arrested the next day on child endangerment charges. Bond was set at $250,000 and she was barred from unsupervised contact with minors

In August 2026, Lesueur pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of child endangerment.

Franklin County Common Pleas Judge Mark Serrott sentenced her to three years of community control, or probation, and ordered her to comply with an ongoing Child Services case.
