ONLY 11 OUT OF 2,000 SCHOOL OF EDUCATION STUDENTS AWARED LOANS THIS YEAR

UNZASU president Gabriel Banda fears that the small number of students awarded loans in the School of Education (11 out of 2,000) may lead to a shortfall of teachers.

He charged that the move has left some programs in the same school with no students.

“Students have high expectation of the New Dawn because they promised us a lot. Already they promised to reinstate the meal allowances immediately they form government but they have not done that,” Mr Banda complained.
