PATRIOTIC ALLIANCE SAYS IT IS WILLING TO ENTER A COALITION WITH THE DA IN JOHANNESBURG DESPITE KENNY KUNENE’S STRONG PERSONAL DISLIKE OF HELEN ZILLE, WHOM HE ACCUSES OF USING THE BLACK VOTE FOR POLITICAL GAIN WHILE KEEPING BLACK PEOPLE POOR!
The Patriotic Alliance (PA) has indicated that it is prepared to work with the Democratic Alliance (DA) in Johannesburg if the election results make a coalition necessary.
PA deputy president Kenny Kunene says political cooperation should not be determined by personal feelings. Despite his personal dislike of Helen Zille, he says his party is willing to negotiate with the DA.
Kunene has strongly criticised Zille, accusing her of using the support of Black voters for political purposes while failing to improve the lives of poor Black communities. These are his political allegations and reflect his criticism of the DA leader.
The PA’s position highlights the complicated political relationships emerging after the 2026 local government elections. Parties that have spent months criticising one another may now have to sit around the same negotiating table to establish municipal governments.
The big question is whether political parties can put their personal and ideological differences aside to form coalitions that deliver stable leadership and better services to residents
Would you support the PA entering a coalition with the DA in Johannesburg despite the strong differences between Kenny Kunene and Helen Zille?
