PLO Lumumba Slams African Leaders Over Russia Summit – “They Had No Agenda” — In a hard-hitting address that is rapidly circulating across Africa, renowned Pan-Africanist and orator PLO Lumumba has delivered a blunt assessment of African leaders’ engagement with Russia, accusing them of approaching the high-profile meeting without a unified strategy.

Speaking with characteristic force, Lumumba declared:

“I have no problem with them, African leaders meeting the Russians. They should, but did they define their agenda? No, they did not. They went there as fifty-four countries, each one of them looking for different things. But if they said, we are Africa, and this is what we want, then you go to America and say, this is what we want, to China, this is what we want, then they say, these fellows are woken up. These fellows now know what they want.”

The comments, delivered before a packed audience, are being widely interpreted as a call for greater African unity and strategic clarity on the global stage. Lumumba’s message is clear: fragmented national interests weaken the continent’s bargaining power, while a collective African position would force major powers to take the continent seriously.

The remarks come amid ongoing debates about Africa’s foreign policy posture and its relationships with Russia, China, and the West. Lumumba’s latest intervention is already sparking intense discussion among policymakers, analysts, and citizens across the continent.
