HAPPENING NOW: Hichilema, Nalumango Sworn In 🇿🇲
President Hakainde Hichilema and Vice-President Mutale WK Nalumango have both taken the oath of office, officially beginning their second term in office.
The swearing-in took place at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, before thousands of Zambians, visiting Heads of State and other international dignitaries.
The ceremony was marked by a ceremonial gun salute and aircraft flypast over National Heroes Stadium, as President Hichilema formally assumed his second mandate following Zambiaโs 13 August 2026 General Election.
