Putin Prepares Russian Delegation for Trilateral Peace Talks with Ukraine and US in Abu Dhabi on November 10

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with members of Moscow’s delegation ahead of crucial trilateral negotiations with Ukraine and the United States, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10–11, 2026.

The Kremlin confirmed that the United States will mediate the talks, marking the first round of trilateral peace negotiations since February as Washington intensifies efforts to bring an end to the war.

Russia’s delegation will be led by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky and include Deputy Foreign Ministers Sergei Ryabkov and Mikhail Galuzin, military officials, and Igor Kostyukov, head of Russia’s military intelligence agency, the GRU

The inclusion of senior diplomatic and military figures signals the broad scope of issues expected to be discussed, including security arrangements, military de-escalation and the terms of a potential settlement.

During the meeting, Putin thanked the United Arab Emirates for hosting the negotiations and discussed preparations with the Russian delegation.

The United States is expected to be represented by special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, with Washington seeking progress on post-war security guarantees, humanitarian measures and a framework for ending the conflict.

However, Moscow and Kyiv remain far apart on key conditions for a peace agreement, leaving the outcome of the upcoming negotiations uncertain.
