QATAR WORKS WITH CHINA TO REVIVE U.S.-IRAN NEGOTIATIONS
Qatar says it is working with China and other parties to bring the United States and Iran back to the negotiating table, as tensions across the region continue to intensify.
Qatar’s Prime Minister, who is currently in Beijing, also discussed regional security with Chinese officials, including the safety and freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz—a critical global shipping corridor for energy and international trade.
The diplomatic effort comes amid growing concerns over regional escalation and disruptions to maritime traffic, with Qatar seeking greater international cooperation to prevent further deterioration and reopen a path toward U.S.-Iran diplomacy.
