Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran on Thursday for high-level talks.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations and regional developments, as Doha continues to play an active diplomatic role in efforts to ease tensions and promote dialogue across the region.
Sheikh Mohammed’s visit comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts involving Iran and several Gulf states. Qatar has maintained channels of communication with Tehran and has repeatedly positioned itself as a mediator in regional disputes.
The talks with Araghchi are expected to address the latest regional security developments, diplomatic initiatives, and ways to strengthen coordination between Qatar and Iran.
