Russia Deploys Pantsir Air Defense System on Bridge Near Moscow Oil Refinery
Russia has reportedly deployed a Pantsir air defense system on a bridge near the Moscow Oil Refinery following a massive Ukrainian drone assault on the capital.
Footage circulating on social media appears to show the Russian air defense system positioned on a highway structure close to the refinery, highlighting Moscow’s efforts to strengthen protection around critical energy infrastructure.
The deployment comes after Ukrainian forces launched a major long-range strike against Moscow and surrounding areas, with Russian authorities reporting more than 1,600 drones intercepted since September 19.
The Moscow Oil Refinery was damaged during the attack, with its crude processing operations subsequently halted, according to industry sources.
