RUSSIA THREATENS THE UK WITH “CONSEQUENCES” OVER BRITISH-MADE DRONES USED BY UKRAINE
British-made drones have reportedly been used by Ukrainian forces for the first time in long-range strikes against targets deep inside Russia, including oil infrastructure, according to The Times.
Among the drones identified is the Nyan, a jet-powered system developed by Callen-Lenz, a BAE Systems company, and designed to conduct long-range missions despite electronic warfare and jamming.
Moscow has reacted sharply. The Russian Embassy in London accused the UK of escalating the conflict, warning that “the deeper its involvement, the higher the price will be,” without specifying what consequences Russia might impose
Some Russian media have also raised the possibility of a “nuclear war,” although this does not constitute a direct official nuclear threat against the United Kingdom.
