Russian Jet-Powered Drone Hits Supermarket in Odesa, Injuring Four

A Russian jet-powered drone struck a supermarket in Ukraine’s Odesa region on Thursday, October 15, injuring at least four people and triggering a major fire.

The strike hit a Tavria V supermarket in the settlement of Mayaky, partially destroying the building and damaging vehicles parked nearby.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene to battle the blaze and assist the injured. Repeated air raid alerts complicated firefighting operations, forcing rescuers to temporarily move to safety.

The attack adds to Russia’s ongoing strikes on civilian areas and infrastructure across Ukraine.
